What we keep about you, why, and what we never do with it.
Draft — not yet in force. This page is being reviewed before HelloAgain opens to everyone.
Who we are
HelloAgain is run by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], [CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NUMBER]. Questions about your data: support@helloagain.gg.
What we keep
- Your account: your address, your password (stored only as a hash we can't turn back into the password), and your recovery e-mail if you add one.
- Your mail: the messages you send and receive, your folders, drafts, filters and settings.
- Sign-in records: when and from which network address your account was used, to protect it and to limit sign-ups per network.
- Billing, if you choose Plus: your billing name, country and billing e-mail, and your invoices. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we don't see or keep your card details.
What we never do
- Show advertising from other companies, or sell or share your data for advertising.
- Let AI read, sort or summarise your mail unless you turn that on yourself.
- Read your mail. Our staff have no tool for it.
Cookies
Only the cookies that keep you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
Where your data lives
Your mail and account are stored in Helsinki, Finland, in the European Union.
How long we keep it
- As long as your account exists. An unused free account is kept and keeps receiving mail.
- When you delete your account we wait 30 days in case you change your mind. Then your mail and account data are deleted for good, and we send one last mail to your recovery or billing e-mail to confirm it.
- Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires: [RETENTION PERIOD FOR INVOICES].
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data, and take it with you. Most of it you can change yourself under Account; for anything else, e-mail us. You can also complain to your data protection authority. [LEGAL BASES AND SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY TO BE CONFIRMED.]
